Clarissa®
An all-new style Infant Nasal CPAP assembly.

Performance requirements for this device addressed three vital issues.

  1. Minimize flow resistance (less work of breathing).
  2. Maintain nasal tissue integrity (patient comfort).
  3. Maximize device stability (ease of positioning).
The cannula and body are a one piece platinum cured silicone for
maximum tissue compatibility. During CPAP therapy the pressure
causes the soft flexible body to slightly inflate and conform to the facial
surfaces.
This spreads contact over a larger area reducing the risk of tissue
breakdown. The long soft body offers strain relief by flexing during
circuit or patient movements.

The head bonnet is a soft tissue compatible polyurethane foam that
attaches to the cannula device at four points to provide stability.

Use Clarissa with any Infant Ventilator in the CPAP mode.
It attaches to standard 10mm infant ventilator breathing circuits.
